Hi, I’m Tejas 👋

I am a passionate technologist with a diverse set of experiences ranging from solving highly innovative technology problems in the lab to conceptualizing them in production-grade systems.

🎓 Currently, I am a master’s student at RWTH Aachen University with a strong academic foundation and industry-backed experience in building intelligent, scalable software systems. My work spans across cloud-native software development, machine learning, and computer vision for a variety of domains including industrial automation, finance and HR.

With a background that bridges applied research and production-grade software, I am driven by a passion for turning complex problems into practical, efficient solutions. I am especially interested in architecture and development of intelligent distributed systems with a strong focus on security.

🤔 Want to know more about me?

I come from Pune, India. I pursued a bachelors’ degree in Computer Engineering from the Pune University with an Honours in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. During this time I also got to work with the Graph Neural Networks Research Group at the Symbiosis Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence.

After completing my bachelors’, I joined Deutsche Bank Technology Centre as a Software Engineer. Here I worked on developing various software products and solutions for the legal & governance technologies team.

💡What sparks my interest?

Having worked across multiple domains in software engineering—including Data, Backend, Machine Learning, and Computer Science Research—I have developed a keen interest in designing and developing highly performant intelligent systems.

In the age of distributed computing, I am particularly fascinated by how we can build scalable and efficient AI systems. Furthermore, I am also particularly interested in Explainability and Reasoning aspects of AI models.
